Saturday 5th August and Saturday 26th August at Blujazz Cafe

On the first and last Saturdays of August, a couple of friends and I will be playing at Blujazz Cafe, located at 10 Bali Lane (in front of Arab Street; next to Golden Landmark; opposite Raffles Hospital). The repertoire will be a bunch of songs rooted in the jazz; funk; hip-hop; soul and jam band idioms-a little Herbie Hancock; a little Wes; some Miles Davis tunes; some Charlie Hunter; some standards and a couple of improvised originals. Maybe some Jamiroquai. A couple of big names, and we'll try our best to do justice to their compositions! The other members of the four-piece group (guitar; keyboards (maybe vocals); bass; drums) all come from vastly different musical backgrounds but we all share a common love of good music and we hope to be able to share that passion with you.
