It relates back to the guitar because some of the most significant moments generated from it produce a joy that’s so deep within that it transcends what seems to be important to our musicianship. Such an ecstasy redefines the meaning of accomplishment, as well as success, and begins to move toward a complete love, which by the way is given, and cannot be possessed, “A Love Supreme”.
Whensoever this takes place in the human condition the ego comes forward, and in its own way attempts to once again hopefully achieve what so far has caused nothing but disappointments. Each time within this human process the mind becomes a stage upon which that ego conjures up an image of gratitude for its own achievement.
To awaken to this, ..... to remember what is being viewed has nothing to do with the one who is viewing it stabilizes ones truest identity. From here on, the guitar, (as an instrument) like any other instrument serves a greater purpose.
Peace Within
